The St. Joseph Mustangs held their annual Fan Fest yesterday at the East Hills Shopping Center. It was an exciting, fun filled event for players and fans alike.
There was plenty to do for the passionate fans who came out in droves to the support the Mustangs. The main event was the Question and Answer Session that happened on stage with players, coaches, General Manager Ky Turner, and owner Dan Gerson. However, there was much more including the Mustang’s bounce house, player autographs, National Anthem tryouts, and even a chance to win free tickets!
The atmosphere was an excited one, especially for eager players, ready to start the season. “It’s great to get out and get a
feel of the community, really embrace the team, and get excited for the season,” said Preston Felgate, Pitcher. “It’s awesome to come out and see all the support, and getting to talk to people you wouldn’t normally get to know while playing” it’s great to see the community come out to support us as we get ready to start the season,” said Austin Aspegren, Pitcher.
The players weren’t the only people ready to get going this summer. Brent Fletchall, community member and longtime fan loved the Fan Fest. “It’s a great opportunity to come meet the players, hear the team’s expectations for the season, and have a good time,” Mr. Fletchall said.
The Mustang’s Fan Fest was a major success, and the perfect way to wrap up the off season.
