SAINT JOSEPH, Mo. -- The St Joe Mustangs take another game off the Warren Country Crop Dusters in a 5-4 victory.
The Mustang's record improved to 33-6 overall and 29-6 in conference play.
The Mustangs continued to give up runs in the early innings, leaving fans stunned with a late-inning comeback!
After the Mustangs gave up their first run in the second inning from Roy Holcomb and two in the sixth from Trenton Roehler, the Mustangs mounted their offensive comeback.
In the seventh, Carson Schrack, Ike Book, and Darius Freeman tied the game at three. In the eighth, Mason Holton and Jackson Glueck put the Mustangs ahead by scoring on a wild pitch and a double to center for a 5-3 lead.
In the ninth, Jace Johnson closed the game with a run scored and two strikeouts for a 5-4 victory.
